Privacy policy

Lockstone uses the minimum information needed to enforce focus sessions and, when you choose to sign in, synchronize supported information across your devices.

Information stored locally

Your selected apps and websites, Screen Time authorization state, HealthKit authorization state, local settings, key payloads, and enforcement state stay on your device. Per-device app selections are not synchronized. Health and Screen Time information is used only to evaluate release rules and provide the features you request; it is not used for advertising.

Optional account and sync

If you use Sign in with Apple, Lockstone processes the Apple account identifier and email relay address Apple provides, if any, to create and secure your account. Supported focus-mode configuration and session history are stored with our infrastructure provider, Supabase, so they can sync between supported devices. This information is linked to your account and used only for app functionality.

Camera, NFC, and physical keys

Camera access is used only to scan a Lockstone QR key. NFC access is used only to read or write a compatible key when you request it. Key data is processed locally and is not collected by us.

Tracking, advertising, and sale

Lockstone does not contain third-party advertising, does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and does not sell personal information.

Retention and deletion

Local information remains until you remove it or delete the app. Synced account information remains while your account is active or as reasonably required for security and legal obligations. To request deletion, email class.instantiate@gmail.com from the address associated with your account.

Security and service providers

Lockstone uses Apple authentication and encrypted network connections. Authentication credentials are kept in the system Keychain. Supabase processes synchronized information on our behalf to provide authentication, storage, and database services.
